Your Inner Guru

You Carry the Wisdom

From time to time, someone will say “I need to talk to my guru.”, when they’re in a tough spot and come to talk to me. I have always pushed back at that phrase. I’m nobody’s guru. My favorite thing is bridging that gap to trusting that they are their own best guru.

When women first come to me, I often hear:

  • "I just don't know where to start."

  • I’m at my wits end.

  • "Nothing I do makes a difference."

My heart aches a little bit when I hear these things, because I've been in that spot and know just how uncomfortable it is. However, I also experience a little leap of joy. I know they've brought themselves to a point where change is possible. Women often say they aren't even sure why they called/clicked/emailed, it just seemed like the right thing to do. That's their inner guru talking.

Your inner guru brings you to the right place at the right time.

I know sometimes it feels like you're bumbling around grasping at whatever might bring some relief. What if you could trust that even that feeling is just right; bringing you to the right teacher just when you are perfectly ripe to learn the lesson? What if you had to be at that point of 'wits end' in order to be ready? At first, this is usually the case.

Start to notice when articles related to your 'thing' start to pop up in front of you, just the right book falls into your hands, or you learn about a new class/healer/mentor that sounds intriguing. These are little bits of guidance that Spirit sends and your inner guru notices them for a reason. When you are ready, you will allow the fear of action to slip away, and begin.

When you're seeking, the right resources show up to reflect what you already know and provide what you are asking for. My favorite magic in client sessions is when someone spontaneously blurts out what we've been working towards, what they were afraid to say out loud, that was already within them waiting to be set free. This doesn't happen because I'm a smarty pants that makes it happen. It's because we've swirled around in co-creation and inner wisdom could float to the top.

Shift into knowing

When clients return for a "tune-up" or to work on a new aspect that's come to light, there is usually a very different energy. They are more assured in their choice, trusting that things will smooth out again, but realizing they sometimes can't move through an internal shift all by themselves.

When you trust your inner guru, you seek help when needed. You do this not because you don't know any better and need someone wise, but because you know yourself deeply and recognize when you need support or an outside perspective. Feel free to get in touch if you’d like me to provide that support.
